Itinerary

Day 1: Enjoy your First Game Drive in the MalaMala Game Reserve

Your safari adventure starts in Johannesburg with a flight from OR Tambo International Airport to Skukuza Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by road to MalaMala Camp, be sure to look out for animals along the way.
After having time to settle into your luxury room and having lunch, you will venture out on your first-afternoon game drive in the African bush. Be sure to have your camera ready as your guide and tracker take you off-road in search of the Big Five and other interesting animals and bird species.
On your return to MalaMala Camp and a quick freshening up, dinner is served in the reed-enclosed boma under an ancient jackalberry tree. Alternatively, when the weather is suitable, a candlelit dinner is served on the safari deck overlooking the Sand River. While seated around a log fire under the starry African sky, enjoy the superb food and excellent wines—yet another highlight of the MalaMala experience.

Day 2-4: Game Drives, Bush Walks & Relaxation

During your stay at MalaMala Camp, you will embark on exhilarating dawn and dusk open-vehicle game drives led by highly trained guides and trackers who are passionate about wildlife and conservation. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the bush on foot, learning about the fauna and flora that make up this pristine wilderness.
Relaxation is important between game drives, so relax beside the pool or rest in your lodge room.

Day 5: Final Game Drive
